When creativity meets passion, magic happens — and this year, that magic was recognized.
At the Parksmania Awards 2025, Mirabilandia took home the prize for Best Indoor Show with Pinocchio – The Musical, a bold and imaginative reinterpretation of one of the most beloved stories ever told.
The award celebrates not only the artistry of the production, but also the extraordinary vision and dedication of our Shows team, a group of talented creators, performers, and technicians who work tirelessly to deliver experiences that move and inspire our guests.
In Pinocchio – The Musical, the timeless wooden puppet is reborn as a humanoid robot connected to the Internet, navigating the digital world in search of identity and purpose. Through spectacular scenography, powerful music, and heartfelt storytelling, the show bridges tradition and innovation, inviting audiences to reflect on what it truly means to be human in a connected age.
This recognition is a testament to Mirabilandia’s commitment to innovation and excellence in live entertainment, and to the creative strength that defines our entire Parques Reunidos family.
To learn more about how this extraordinary production came to life, we sat down with one of the brilliant minds behind the show: Marco Giony, the art director of the StuntmanShow Production.
How did the idea of reimagining Pinocchio come about?
The idea was to revisit a classic and adapt it to our era, making it resonate with a younger audience who grew up surrounded by technology. The story was built without overly imaginative elements, but set in real, recognizable places. The characters were designed to maintain the essence and traits of the originals.
What was the biggest challenge in bringing this futuristic version to life?
The biggest challenge was the musical aspect. Once again, we aimed to select well-known songs that would connect with younger audiences while fitting naturally into the storyline.
How did the audience respond?
The audience’s response was very positive, as the production appeals to everyone, from children to entire families!
As Marco shares, every scene, song, and lighting cue was designed to awaken emotion, the kind that lingers long after the curtain falls.
Because at Mirabilandia, and across Parques Reunidos, we believe that every story we tell is an opportunity to spark imagination, create connection, and deliver moments guests will remember forever.
