Some venues host events.
Others transform them.
At Parques Reunidos, we believe the true power of an event lies in what people feel, remember, and take with them long after it’s over. That’s why our parks are not simply locations: they are living, breathing worlds designed to spark emotion.
Imagine presenting your strategy in a fully equipped auditorium… and celebrating success just hours later with your team riding roller coasters at sunset. Picture an intimate dinner surrounded by marine life, or a product launch enhanced by live performances created by our own entertainment teams.
This is what makes our parks different: they are built for experience.
From large-scale corporate conventions to highly curated executive gatherings, from family celebrations to full-scale audiovisual productions, we combine creativity, operational excellence, and deep local expertise to make every moment seamless and memorable.
Our capabilities go far beyond space. We bring together large venues, outdoor stages, technical production, and our in-house show expertise, allowing us to integrate performances directly into the event narrative. The result is not just an event, but a fully immersive experience.
And while we are known for delivering large, high-impact events, we care just as much about the personal ones. Birthdays, communions, and family gatherings find in our parks a setting where memories are naturally amplified.
In our animal parks, this experience is always balanced with responsibility. Every event is designed with the highest standards of animal welfare in mind, ensuring respect, care, and sustainability are never compromised.
For those looking to extend the experience, some of our destinations offer something even more powerful: the ability to stay inside the story. At Tropical Islands, for example, guests can combine their event with on-site accommodation, turning a single day into a fully immersive escape—effortless, seamless, and unforgettable.
Our parks have also become part of something bigger. Films, series, commercials, and music videos have chosen our spaces as their backdrop. Being part of these stories means becoming part of cultural memory, and that is something we are deeply proud of.
To explore what’s behind all of this, we sat down with Cristina López Cruz, Head of Sales & Contact Center at Parques Reunidos Spain.
When you think about events in Parques Reunidos, what makes them fundamentally different from traditional venues?
We don’t start from an empty space, we start from environments that already evoke emotion, and that completely transforms how an event is designed.
In our parks, the setting is not just where the event happens; it becomes part of the message itself.
This allows us to create far more memorable experiences, where the client’s content integrates naturally into the environment. And there’s a key point here: none of this would be possible without our teams. They deeply understand each park and know exactly how to unlock the full potential of every space.
How do you approach the balance between business objectives and emotional impact when designing an event?
We always begin with the client’s objective. That’s non-negotiable. But over time, we’ve learned that real impact doesn’t come only from what is said, but from how it is experienced.
That’s why we design events that deliver on business goals while using emotion as a lever. And our teams play a critical role here. They are the ones who bring that vision to life and turn it into something that truly resonates with people.
Our parks offer a wide range of environments—from adrenaline-filled attractions to serene, immersive spaces. How do you help clients choose the right narrative for their event?
It all starts with listening, understanding what the client wants to achieve and the kind of experience they want to create.
From there, we work very closely with the park teams to identify the environment that best fits the narrative. We’re fortunate to have such a diverse range of spaces, which allows us to craft highly tailored solutions for each client.
You often talk about personalization. What does “fully tailored” really mean in practice for a client?
When we talk about “fully tailored,” we don’t just mean adapting a space or adjusting a schedule. We mean building the event from the ground up based on the client’s needs.
That requires close coordination across multiple teams—commercial, operations, entertainment, education—and ensuring everything works seamlessly together. It’s precisely this orchestration that makes each event truly unique.
From large corporate conventions to intimate family celebrations, the scale of events varies greatly. How do you ensure the same level of excellence across such different formats?
Whether it’s a large-scale corporate event or a more intimate celebration, the level of expectation remains exactly the same.
The key lies in having clear processes, but above all, in having highly committed teams who understand that every client matters. That consistency is what allows us to maintain excellence across very different formats.
Our in-house entertainment expertise is a unique asset. How do performances and shows enhance the overall event experience?
It’s one of our strongest differentiators. Entertainment is not an add-on—it’s an integral part of the experience.
When it’s seamlessly integrated into the event, the overall impact is completely transformed. And again, our teams are essential in making this happen, ensuring everything feels cohesive and meaningful.
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the events industry. How is this reflected in the way we design and deliver experiences—especially in our animal parks?
In our animal parks, this is an absolute priority. Every event is designed with strict respect for animal welfare and under clearly defined criteria.
It’s deeply embedded in how we operate day to day, thanks to the teams who consistently uphold these standards.
Destinations like Tropical Islands or Slagharen allow guests to stay within the park itself. How does this change the way events are experienced?
It adds an entirely new dimension. The event is no longer a moment in time—it becomes a more holistic experience.
This creates a deeper connection with the client and allows us to shape both the content and the overall experience in a more thoughtful and immersive way.
Parques Reunidos is also a partner for film, TV, and creative productions. What does it mean for the brand to be part of these cultural projects?
It’s a powerful way to showcase our spaces beyond traditional events and position ourselves as more than just a venue.
Being part of cultural and creative projects also brings significant value to the brand—and to our teams, who see how their work transcends into broader contexts.
Looking ahead, how do you see the future of experiential events evolving—and what role do you want Parques Reunidos to play in that future?
The industry is clearly moving toward more personalized and emotionally driven experiences.
Parques Reunidos is uniquely positioned to lead that evolution—thanks to the distinctiveness of our spaces and, above all, the expertise of our teams in transforming those spaces into truly memorable memories.
Beyond the event
At Parques Reunidos, we don’t just organize events. We create environments where people connect, celebrate, and remember.
Because when the setting is extraordinary, the experience becomes something more.
It becomes a story worth telling.
