Parques Reunidos receives validation for its updated near-term science-based emissions reduction targets from the SBTi

Madrid, June 4, 2026 — Parques Reunidos today announced that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has approved the update of the company’s near-term science-based emissions reduction targets: “Parques Reunidos Group commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 76.23% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Parques Reunidos Group also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 27.5% within the same timeframe.”.

The Science Based Targets initiative is a global corporate climate action organization that enables businesses to set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science.

This validation confirms that Parques Reunidos’ targets are aligned with climate science and the level of decarbonization required to support the goals of the Paris Agreement.
