As we prepare for 2026, Bjørn Håvard Solli, General Manager, shares insider tips on how to enjoy Tusenfryd at its best and what’s coming next.

As General Manager, how would you describe the essence of Tusenfryd to someone visiting for the first time?

In my opinion, Tusenfryd really has a wide variety of park experiences, offering something for everyone. Whether you are young or old, a thrill seeker or more comfortable on the milder rides, there is definitely something for everyone. And it is a unique place in our region to share memorable moments.

If you had to share just one insider tip to help guests make the most of their visit, what would it be?

Which attractions or experiences would you say are absolute must-dos, and why?

This all comes down to individual preference, but as a coaster enthusiast, Tusenfryd has a lot to offer.  Our famous wooden coaster Thundercoaster, the fast-paced Speedmonster, and our last novelty Storm are among the rides I consider must-dos. The paid river ride Ragnarok is also one of my family favorites.

What is your personal favorite attraction or moment in the park?

Talking about rides, I would definitely say our latest novelty Storm, a suspended triple-launch coaster, is a big favorite. I also strongly recommend friends and families visit the park during the Halloween period, as there are some truly special moments to experience at that time of year, alongside a great selection of rides.

What advice would you give guests to plan their day better and avoid common mistakes?

Having been in the industry for a long time, I always consider it important to set aside the whole day for your visit. This will allow you to experience more. Another insider tip is not to always go with the main flow. Waiting times for rides can vary a lot during the day, so don’t waste time in long queues. Come back later instead. I also always recommend reading up on our website prior to your visit, as this will help you plan your trip better.

Looking ahead to 2026, what can our visitors expect? Are there any novelties, improvements or surprises you’re particularly excited about?

For 2026, we are looking to further improve our park offering and create new memorable moments for everyone. We are in the process of developing a new summer event, which we hope will be exciting for our visitors this season.
