
June 2, 2026. – Aquopolis Villanueva de la Cañada has decided to bring forward its opening in response to the high temperatures currently being experienced across the Madrid region. The park will now open its doors on June 6, six days earlier than originally scheduled.
Visitors who decide to head to Madrid’s top water park this week will be able to enjoy more than 2,000 m² of fine white sandy beach, a wave pool, and over 15 water attractions that guarantee a day full of fun and refreshment.
Among them is a large children’s area featuring six attractions, mini versions adapted from the iconic Waikiki, Zigzag, Soft Tracks, Turbolance, and Rapid River, as well as Tiki Island, with numerous water jets for family enjoyment.
Young visitors can also continue to experience the thrills of Kangaroa, an attraction made up of six slides that can be ridden on a mat from a height of over ten metres. Now, it will soon be joined by Kilauea—ensuring fun for everyone.
To complete its offering, Aquopolis has continued to expand its increasingly varied food and beverage options year after year. The park also features shaded picnic areas and additional services designed to improve visitor comfort. Highlights include direct food service to sun loungers, VIP zones, and Balinese beds.
The park stands as the ultimate meeting point for families and groups of friends during Madrid’s summer season.
