TusenFryd is Norway’s largest amusement park and a popular destination for both families and thrill‑seekers. The park is strategically located in Vinterbro, 20 kilometers south of Oslo, close to the intersection of two of Norway’s longest freeway corridors, making it easily accessible for visitors from across the country.
TusenFryd offers attractions for all ages, from gentle rides for young children to more thrilling experiences. Among the park’s highlights is Storm, Europe’s first inverted triple launch roller coaster, delivering a unique and powerful ride experience. For families and first‑time coaster riders, HuriHuri is a charming beginner roller coaster that offers fun and excitement for guests of all ages. Visitors can also enjoy Ragnarok, a water‑based Viking‑themed attraction featuring rapids, waterfalls, and a dramatic whirlpool.
The park features three themed areas—Expedition Lost Kingdoms, Dragonville, and Route 66—with more than 30 attractions, 10 shops, and around 20 bars and restaurants. TusenFryd also cooperates with several hotels, making longer stays convenient.
In addition, the park includes the BadeFryd water park, with pools and slides, open throughout the summer. One of TusenFryd’s most innovative features is its unique entrance, where visitors ride an escalator that passes directly through a loop of the Speed Monster roller coaster.
