Leisure park operator Parques Reunidos optimizes its offering with the opening of a new attraction in Germany

  • The whole new 4D attraction that has just been unveiled in Movie Park Germany sets an example of the optimization of Parques Reunidos’ assets in Europe.
  • Together with other openings of new attractions and zones in different parks of the Group, the opening of this new attraction is part of the company’s three-year €200M investment plan.

Bottrop, Germany. July 24th, 2014 – Parques Reunidos, one of the largest leisure park operators in the world with a total amount of 70 parks in 12 countries, has just unveiled a whole new 4D attraction in Movie Park Germany, at Bottrop. Together with the recent opening of Nickelodeon Land at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid and Warner Beach in Spain, and Dinoland in Italy among others, the opening of “The Lost Temple” in Germany is also part of the group’s €200M investment plan for three years. This plan aims to reinforce Parques Reunidos’ capacity to attract new visitors, with 2 million new visitors expected for 2017.

This attraction has been designed not only to offer visitors a new experience in their visit of the park, but to take them far beyond. The “Immersive Tunnel” uses the latest 4D technology combined with a 360-degree screen, so that guests are at all times right in the middle of the action. The visitors will be able to hear the sounds, feel the vibrations and immerse themselves into this ancient world full of dinosaurs.
