Parques Reunidos and Fútbol Club Barcelona come together to develop themed indoor entertainment centers

Madrid, May 14th, 2018. – Parques Reunidos and Fútbol Club Barcelona have reached an agreement to develop five themed indoor entertainment centers in the next five years.

These entertainment centers will take up an average surface of 5,000 sqm and they will be entirely dedicated to FC Barcelona. Visitors of all ages will enjoy a fully immersive experience through this new entertainment concept which takes its roots in the Club’s history, values, players, and historical moments. The new centers will offer a fun, family-friendly, sports-based experience combining physical education and entertainment through interactive activities.

The agreement with Fútbol Club Barcelona, one of the best-known clubs worldwide featuring more than 1,200 sports clubs in the world, falls under the scope of Parques Reunidos’ growth strategy to develop indoor entertainment centers in shopping malls and landmark buildings. In addition to FC Barcelona, the group has reached similar agreements to achieve its strategic goals with strong international brands such as Discovery, Lionsgate and Nickelodeon, and has developed an original brand, Atlantis Aquarium.
